Apply for support

You don't have to do this alone.

If you are going through cancer and need help with everyday expenses, you can apply for support. We keep the process simple, respectful and human.

Am I eligible?

You may be eligible if you:

  • Have a cancer diagnosis, of any type or stage
  • Start treatment within 60 days, are in active treatment, or finished active treatment within the last 12 months
  • Are in palliative or hospice care for active cancer
  • Live in the United States
  • Need help with everyday living expenses
  • Someone can help you apply, or a legal representative can apply for you if you cannot take part.

There is no income requirement, and you do not need to be a US citizen. If cancer returns and treatment begins again, you are eligible again. Every 6 months you confirm where you are in treatment, and support continues for 12 months after active treatment ends.

How it works

A simple, thoughtful process.

We review each application to verify identity and diagnosis. That keeps the community safe and makes sure support reaches real people. We verify the person, not each bill: once you are approved, what you ask for is yours to decide.

Three ways to apply

For yourself, with help, or through someone who acts for you.

01

Applying for myself

You provide
A government ID and a short live check, your diagnosis and the provider treating you, one document that confirms it, and a bank account connected through Stripe.
Who verifies
You do, with your own ID and a short live check.
Where the money goes
An account in your name.
02

Helping someone apply

You provide
Your name, how to reach you and how you are related, plus their information and documents.
Who verifies
They do: their identity, their consent and their bank account, through a link we send. If they cannot use it, we help by phone or video.
Where the money goes
An account in their name, only.
Good to know
A helper never receives the support. If the person cannot take part at all, apply as their legal representative instead.
03

Legal representative

You provide
Your ID and a live check, their information and documents, and the document that gives you authority: financial power of attorney, guardianship, conservatorship or another court order naming you.
Who verifies
You are verified, and our team reviews your authority before anything else.
Where the money goes
Their own account, or an account you are legally authorized to manage. We review that before any payout.
